Aircraft Flight Controls and Rigging
The Cirrus Way of Learning
The Flight Control System is responsible for the maneuvering of the aircraft. Maneuvering is made possible by transmitting the input of the flight crew to an output that exerts movement on the flight control surfaces. The system depending on the aircraft incorporates different flight control surfaces, each with a specific design and purpose.
This course is designed to prepare the students to be knowledgeable on the Primary and Secondary Flight Controls of the aircraft. The students will be aware of the different types of each flight control and its operation. Most importantly, the students will be able to determine the aircraft’s reaction whenever each flight control is operated.
