Ground Handling involves the coordination of different groups of professionals whose responsibility is to perform servicing on the aircraft which is required for its operation. These servicing tasks include the use of equipment, tools, aids, and PPEs by trained professionals to ensure the safety and quality of work performed.
This course is designed to provide an orientation to students on the work environment, different equipment, terminologies, and procedures during aircraft servicing. It also includes a discussion on the different marshaling signals and accompanying procedures to ensure safety in the arrival and dispatch operation of the aircraft.
